All day long we ask ourselves questions: What if I don’t get the project completed? What if I am late? What if my child never takes responsibility? What if I get bad news from the Doctor? What if I can’t lose the weight? What if I don’t discover my purpose?

We play the “what if” game often and imagine the worse case scenario. This causes fear, worry, and anxiety. It weighs us down and ruins the quality of the moment that is right before us. (The only place where happiness resides.)

Try to catch yourself having a “what if” thought and then use your imagination to create the best case scenario. Notice the difference in your body when you play this out.

life coach rona florio quote 1

Yesterday, I felt joyful all day. At the core of that joy was gratitude–one of the treasures of happiness that lies all around us and within us.

Gratitude shifts our focus from where our life lacks to the abundance that is already present. We can access it in a minute: If you are reading this post you have sight, breath, and a sound mind. –How lucky are you?!

Just for today, live as if everything is a miracle. If you like the way you feel, make it a practice. ????

"One must practice the things which produce happiness, since if that is present we have everything and if it is absent we do everything in order to have it."
